I had spotty ATT cell service on the hike. I recently hiked a section of the blue-blazed Tuscarora Trail in Winchester to Pinnacle Shelter and Pinnacle Overlook. Day 6: The Shelter That Has Everything | Tuscarora Trail, 2020 That would add another six plus miles to our day and most of that would be uphill. At the trail sign, turn left onto the southbound section of the 252-mile Tuscarora Trail. The trail head was a little tricky to find, but once I found it and parked, I wondered how I could have missed it.
